I've long had a passion for both wood working and our feathered friends.
When looking for items that would be great for my pet budgies health and well being, I couldn't quite find the right items I was looking for - so I started making some!
Over time I started to improve my wood working techniques, moving from static branches only into also designing and constructing interactive table top stands and cage attachment perches that included moving elements they could explore.
I found that as well as enjoying watching them on their latest perch, I also loved the woodworking process. I enjoyed the challenge of making sturdy structures without the use of glues, nails, or any chemicals.
After years of refining the craft and positive feedback from friends and family, I decided to open an Etsy shop and put some brand new designs up for purchase for some of our other feathered friends - and Bird Tress was hatched.
